In case some of you miss the Oscar last night, let me just
simply put in this way: It was INSTERESTING in so many different ways. Interesting in a way Leonardo Dicaprio
took home the gold (Hallelujah!) and made a remarkable speech
(click on the link to watch the speech). Interesting in a way that it was the most diversifies Oscar show I
ever watched. More over, Interesting in
a way that there were many awkward moments that should’ve left it out. And last
but not least, the fashion trend of this year was quite Interesting. It was colorful
and springish.
I am always a big fan of pastel color. Is clean, is fun, and
is elegant. Take Cate Blanchett for example, her Armani Privé blue feather gown was absolutely
flattering. From the low V where it compromises with her short wavy hairstyle; the
high waist line which created and emphasizes a long leg room; a sparkle bangle
for a glam touch up was just perfect. When it comes to tailor made gown, no
doubt Armani is an expert in the area. Beside the pastels, with other darker
tone gowns, there are two remarkable gowns of the night which caught my eyes:
The shoulder-less gown which Naomi Watts was wearing (by Giorgio Armanni), and
Margot Robbie’s Tom Ford gold gown was stunning and hangs perfectly in their
body. With that being said, a high qualities evening gown shall sew and tailor
absolute molded as a second skin to the body.
So fans, does this year’s red carpet meet your expectations?
Stay Fashionable. Stay Elegant.
